Mandal rewarded, gets top post

Dehra Dun, Jul 17 (PTI) In a reward for Kiran Mandal who vacated his assembly seat for him, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna today appointed the former BJP MLA as chairman of a state government enterprise. Mandal had been made chairman of the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam for promoting tourism in the hill state, officials said.
