Dehradun, Jan 25 (PTI) The Uttarakhand government has set a target of creating nearly 50,000 jobs this year for the people of the state, Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank said today.In his message on the eve of Republic Day, Nishank said the state government has launched various developmental and welfare schemes for all sections of society like women, youths and old-aged persons.The hill state is among the top six states of India, which are attracting huge industrial investment, an official release said here.The Central Planning Commission has also approved weightage on financial grant to Uttarakhand for conservation of environment and forests, it added.
