31 families displaced from Rajaji Park get land

Rishikesh, Apr 29 (PTI) Uttarakhand government today gave land to 31 families of a village, who had been shifted out of the Rajaji Park, for rehabilitation. The families from Khand village have been relocated to make Chila-Motichur elephant corridor free of human activities. Local MLA Premchand Agrawal said the move would minimise man-animal conflict in the area. The families were earlier relocated to Khand village near here due to the construction of 2400 MW Tehri Hydel project
