Pigeons invade Uttarakhand MLAs' hostel

Dehradun, Dec 21 (PTI) The MLA hostel here has got an uninvited guest, and if the inmates are to be believed, then their life has become rather miserable.

The guest is infact pigeon, which according to a Congress MLA has become a point of concern for him.

Raising the issue in the Uttarakhand Assembly, Mahendra Singh Mahra of Congress said that pigeons have made their habitat at his house in MLAs' hostel "making his life miserable."

Mahra said he has been staying in the MLA's hostel for past two and a half years and had apprised the government of the problem several times but nothing was done so far.

Urging Speaker Harbans Kapoor to give directions to the government in this regard, Mahra said most of the MLAs are facing the problem of pigeons' invasion.
