Dehra Dun, Apr 22 (PTI) In an administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, departments of several IAS officials were changed, while an IPS was promoted to the additional secretary to the Chief Minister. Manisha Pawar has been made Higher Education Secretary, while P C Sharma who was looking after the department was given additional responsibility of Revenue and Disaster Management, official sources said. Sharma will remain as the Secretary of Civil Aviation, Irrigation, Housing and Sanskrit education. Agriculture and Minor Irrigation Secretary Om Prakash has been given additional responsibility of Rural Development. Nitesh Jha has been released of his responsibilities in Information Technology Development Agency. He will continue to work as the Additional Secretary in IT, Higher Education, Sanskrit Education, Renewable Energy departments. Sources said Additional Secretary-Rural Development Ravinath Singh has been made director of ITDA. He will also look after Home. DIG Abhinav Kumar, an IPS officer, has been promoted to additional secretary to the Chief Minister, they added.
