Transfer for 10 police officers in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Apr 21 (PTI) In a minor administrative reshuffle, ten IPS officers, including police superintendents of five districts, have been transferred in Uttarakhand, officials said.
The transfer orders were given last night after Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank''s approval.

As per the orders, the Senior Superintendent of Police in Haridwar Sanjay Gunjyal has been transfered to PAC, while Keval Khurana posted in STF would replace Gunjyal. The Superintendent of Uttarkashi, Arun Mohan Joshi has been transferred to Pauri as the new Superintendent.

Pushpak Jyoti, the Superintendent of Pauri, has been transferred to the 40th Battalion of PAC.

Sweety Agrawal, who was earlier posted as the Superintendent of Rudraprayag, has been transferred to the Training Division at the police headquarters. CID Superintendent Vimla Gunjyal will replace Agrawal.

The Superintendent of Champavat Pushkar Singh Sailal has been transferred to PAC in Rudrapur and will be replaced by Anant Shankar Tankwale, a commandant in PAC.

Janmejay Prabhakar, Superintendent of Haridwar, has been transferred to the Vigilance Department in Dehradun. Nainital superintendent Sadanand Dante has got a transfer as the new Superintendent of Uttarkashi.
