A Dehradun court has framed charges against New Delhi-based software engineer Rajesh Gulati, who allegedly killed his wife Anupama Gulati, cut her body into pieces and hid them in a deep-freezer.
While framing the charges against Gulati under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (destruction of evidence) on Wednesday, Dehra Dun district judge R C Gupta fixed July 7 as the next date of hearing.
Earlier, Uttarakhand police had filed a chargesheet in the case making Gulati as a prime and only accused in the case on March 10 this year.
In the 350-page charge sheet, the motive behind the murder of 33-year-old Anupama last year has been described as a fallout of strained relations between the couple and alleged second marriage of Rajesh with Jhuma Dutta of Kolkata.
