Five persons electrocuted in Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand, five persons were electrocuted and ten others injured when a bus in which they were travelling came in contact with an overhead electric wire at Harbartpur in Dehradun today.

According to district Police Chief G.S. Martolia, the incident occurred when the bus going to Tyuni from Dehradun came in contact with a loose overhead high- tension electric wire killing five of them on the spot, and ten others received burn injuries. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
