Social activist Anna Hazare's fast at Ramlila Maidan entered the second day on Saturday. According to media reports, Hazare is in fine health and all his organs are working fine. Though this is the fifth day since Hazare's fast began the activist has said that he is not tired and is ready to go on with his fast.
In a while, other team members of Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi, Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan, are expected to come to the Ramlila Maidan.
The mood at the Maidan is upbeat and people from all walks of life have come to support their hero.
Reports in media today revealed that the parliament standing committee headed by Abhishek Manu Singhvi has invited opinion from individual organisation on the lokpal bill.
Meanwhile, the UPA government on Friday appeared open to discussing his team's major demand to place the Prime Minister within the ambit of the proposed lokpal's powers.
The government however seems to be in no hurry to engage in a dialogue with Team Anna and modify its stand on some of the contentious demands being made by the civil society team.
Hazare announced that he would fight to the "last breath" until the government gets his team's Jan Lokpal Bill passed in this session of Parliament, which ends on September 8.
