Dehradun, Sep 23 (PTI) Three MNREGA workers, who had yesterday climbed a tower near Vidhan Sabha here demanding regular jobs, today refused to come down rejecting appeals by government officials. The district authorities tried to persuade them to come down but they refused to do so, stating that they wanted a written assurance for regular jobs, police said. Sandip, Brij Mohan and Navin climbed the BSNL tower near Vidhan Sabha yesterday and threatened to commit suicide by jumping from it, police said. They have been sitting on dharna near Vidhan Sabha for a couple of days over their demands.
