Dehradun, Sep 7 (PTI) Going ahead with its plan to start E-payment in Uttarakhand from November 9, the founding day of the state, government today formed a committee to ensure that that all departments make payments electronically. The decision to set up the committee was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Subhash Kumar, said an official release here. The committee, headed by Principal Secretary, Finance, would ensure that all departments make payments electronically from November 9. In this regard, Kumar said all treasuries were already on-line and sub-treasuries would also be made on-line by November this year. The work of E-tendering had already been launched in four departments as a pilot project and E-procurement would also start in the next two months time, he said.
