DEHRADUN: With two more persons succumbing to injuries, the death toll in communal clashes that broke out in Udham Singh Nagar district on Monday rose to four, even as an uneasy calm prevailed in the curfew-bound area. The situation is tense but completely under control, Udham Singh Nagar SSP G S Martolia said, adding personnel of Rapid Action Force and state police were patrolling violence-hit Rudrapur town and tight vigil was being maintained in vulnerable areas. He, however, said there would be no relaxation in the curfew for the time being.
