Leopard kills man in Uttarakhand village

Dehradun, July 16 (PTI) A 40-year-old man was killed by a leopard at Esoti village in Pauri district, forest officials said. The incident occurred yesterday when Sanjay Kumar was suddenly attacked by the leopard outside his shop. The leopard dragged Kumar to nearby jungles and left his half-eaten body there. Following protests from villagers, the forest department has set up a snare to trap the leopard.
