Two held with leopard skin

Dehradun, Aug 7 (PTI) Two persons were arrested and leopard pelts seized from their possession in Kashipur town in Udhamsingh Nagar district, police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, police stopped a car for checking yesterday and recovered two leopard skins.

The two occupants of the car Mahipal and Risal, both residents of neighbouring area of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, were arrested, they said.

The two have been booked under Wildlife Protection Act.
