Pending Proposal of Border Road Organisation

Only three proposals of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) are in the consideration of the Ministry for clearance subject to conformity with the guidelines of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980. These proposals, received recently, are :

i. Dharasun Gangotri Motor road under NH-108 from km 81.216 to km 94.640 in Uttar Kashi district of Uttarakhand.

ii. Extension and widening of km 38.00 to km 48.00 of Dharasun Gharasun Gangotri Motor road under NH 108 in Uttar Kashi district of Uttarakhand.

iii. Widening of km 16.00 Tawaghat to km 32.00 Bandarlima motor road in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.

All other proposals of road infrastructure development of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) have been granted in-principle/final approval
