Haridwar, Nov 6 (PTI) A large number of people, including Union minister Harish Rawat and Uttarakhand tourism minister Madan Kaushik, today gathered here to celebrate the birth centenary of founder of Shantikunj Ashram Acharya Pt Shreeram Sharma. Holding "kalash" pots on their heads, the people attired in yellow clothes, took out processions from different roads here and also held yagnas. Rose and marigold petals were sprinkled from helicopters on the followers of the ashram.
