Those looking for the job of a teacher in Uttarakhand has a reason to cheer as Uttarakhand is all set to recruit 3400 primary teachers. The education department of the state has fixed a deadline for these recruitments. 2253 teachers for TET will be recruited by 15 th September 2012 while regular BTC teachers will be recruited by 30th September 2012.

The regular teachers for BTC are exempted from TET and a government order of this effect has been issued.
As per announcements of the government the TET teacher will become permanent after theoretical and practical training of six months. During training period, these teachers will be given a fixed salary of Rs7300.
The recruitment of BTC teachers will be based on BTC merit.

The recruitment of TET and BTC teachers will provide a boost to the education in this hilly state.
