Dehradun, Sept 27 (PTI) To give a fillip to the tourism sector in Uttarakhand, a 'Mission 2020' is being chalked out for the tourists visiting the state.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank told PTI Bhasha that the state has a vast potential for tourism and Mission 2020 would further promote it.
As part of the plan, tourists from developed nations would have to pay fees up to Rs one lakh for visiting the tourist spots in the state where as for the people of Uttarakhand, a free trip would be organised, he said.
World-class facilities were being planned at the famous tourist spots in the state, besides helipads which would be constructed to make access easy to far off places, the chief minister said.
