DM asks education officer to make inquiry against Principal

Kotdwar (Uttarakhand), Aug 2 (PTI) Pauri District Magistrate today directed the District Edcation Officer to inquire into the allegations against a government school principal of harassing a female employee. The direction from District Magistrate Dilip Jawalkar came after Laxmi Devi, a class four employee, met him and made a complaint against H P Thapaliyal, Principal of Government Inter College at Jamankhal village in this regard, official sources said. In her complaint, Devi alleged Thapaliyal has been harassing her unnecessarily for a long time and that she had made several complaints to the District Education Officer in the past.
