Cong announces committee for poll-bound Uttarakhand

New Delhi, Sep 13 (PTI) Congress today announced a co-ordination committee under the chairmanship of AICC General Secretary Birendra Singh for poll-bound Uttarakhand.The members of the Committee are Yashpal Arya, Harak Singh Rawat, Tilak Raj Behad, Harish Rawat, Satpal Mahraj, Indira Hridayesh, Hira Singh Bisht, Mahendra Singh Mahara, Kishore Upadhyaya and Manorama Dobriyal Sharma.The Congress also announced a 10-member Monitoring Committee for the hill state under the chairmanship of Arya.The members of the Committee are K C Singh Baba, Pradeep Tamta, Mahendra Singh Pal, Amrita Rawat, Shailendra Mohan Singhal, Narendra Singh Bhandari, Sunder Lal Mayal, Govind Singh Kunjwal and Santosh Chauhan.Interestingly, former state Chief Minister N D Tewari's name is missing from both the Committees.
