Rawat, Satpal to monitor UPA schemes in Uttarakhand

New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS) The Congress Tuesday named Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Harish Rawat and Lok Sabha MP Satpal Maharaj as members of a coordination committee to oversee the central government’s flagship programmes in Uttarakhand.

The Congress appointed a 10-member coordination committee and nine-member monitoring panel to keep an eye on the UPA flagship programmes like rural employment plan and others.

Polls in the hill state are due early next year
