Rishikesh: Diploma holder engineers of Uttarakhand who
are continuing their strike demanding increase in their grade pay scale
are most likely to suspend all construction works from Tuesday under the
second phase of their agitation.
Addressing the agitating
engineers at the guest house of PWD, Bhupesh Gosain, Vijay pal Singh and
TN Singh said that there is resentment among them as the state
government’s attitude towards their demand has not been positive.
They
further said that diploma holder engineers associated with essential
services of the government including gazetted officials of the
association would also participate in this strike and would suspend all
development works.
